We believe that a key to running a good business is doing good for society. Kellanova Better Days™ Promise is our commitment to advancing sustainable and equitable access to food by actively addressing the intersection of wellbeing, hunger, sustainability and equity, diversity and inclusion (ED&I). In doing so, we are committed to creating better days for 4 billion people by the end of 2030.

Our changing climate is impacting the health of people and reducing crop yields, leading to greater food insecurity. Many diverse and underserved communities are disproportionally impacted by climate change and now face higher barriers to health and access to nutritious foods. And these same communities are most at risk for undernutrition, hidden hunger as well as obesity.
For these reasons, one of the ways we are progressing towards our Kellanova Better Days™ Promise is through our leadership and efforts to engage 2 billion people in our initiatives which includes advocating for sustainable and equitable access to food. Those experiencing food insecurity need a voice, so regardless of the circumstances, we work to create positive, healthy futures for families around the world. We do so by encouraging employee volunteerism, promoting an ethical supply chain, supporting our hometown and communities where we do business, partnering with others and ensuring the health and safety of our employees.
The goal of reaching 2 billion people is based on tracking and reporting on the number of people reached annually through engagements such as:
