We believe that a key to running a good business is doing good for society. Kellanova Better Days™ Promise is our commitment to advancing sustainable and equitable access to food by actively addressing the intersection of wellbeing, hunger, sustainability and equity, diversity and inclusion (ED&I). In doing so, we are committed to creating better days for 4 billion people by the end of 2030.
Sustainability, hunger, wellbeing, and equity, diversity and inclusion are all interconnected. Our changing climate is impacting the health of people and reducing crop yields, leading to greater food insecurity. Many diverse and underserved communities are disproportionally impacted by climate change and now face higher barriers to health and access to nutritious foods. And these same communities are most at risk for malnutrition, hidden hunger and obesity.
Addressing these concerns is the aim of our Kellanova Better Days™ Promise to create better days for 4 billion people by the end of 2030.
Kellanova will provide our initial Social and Envionmental Report detailing 2024 progress toward the above goals in 2025. We also intend to report against the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) indices. Kellanova also will annually report environmental data to CDP.
